As of January 2008, it is now illegal to kill honey bee swarms in NJ unless located inside a dwelling.


When you contact a swarm collector or beekeeper be prepared to email a picture of the swarm. They are only interested in honey bees. Here are two pictures the yellow jacket is on the left and the honey bee is on the right.
